WHo/WHy (ORGANIZATIONS)

For Organizations wanting to produce better professionals for their teams (MLS, USL, etc.) and for Youth Soccer Organizations aspiring to offer a pathway beyond high school graduation, but do not meet the traditional requirements (finances, high net worth individuals) or mission/vision/values to begin a fully professional soccer team.

WHere

The league is focused on utilizing its resources efficiently. We will provide a year round league (September through May) which allows for an appropriate training-to-match ratio (at least 4 to 1). In order to achieve this, the league will be broken down into geographical areas to keep the costs of both finances and personnel under control. For its inaugural season of 2025-2026 the league will be limited to teams from Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee.

WHo (players)

The league is targeted to players who want to explore professional opportunities involving soccer through multiple avenues including Professional Play, Coaching, Refereeing, Administration, etc. Specifically, individuals who are not prepared to play professionally be their 17th birthdays, but still desire to dedicate themselves to pursuing the game. While there are many college soccer programs that provide a comprehensive developmental pathway, these avenues are not available to many players due to a host of factors including financial challenges, academic deficiencies and geographic limitations. At the highest level, the goal of this league is to help young men develop to the point that they are offered professional playing opportunities OR to the point that they are offered college soccer opportunities that are both cost-effective and developmentally appropriate. In addition to players who are still in high school and post-graduate players who have not yet begun full time college class work, there are also many student-athletes who leave college soccer programs after 1-2 semesters and do not find a new home through the Transfer Portal
